SLAMIN TENNIS & FITNESS
Enrolment Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: Oct 9th - 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to all coaching programs, lessons, squads, clinics and activities provided by Slamin Tennis and Fitness Pty Ltd (ABN 32 132 223 477), referred to as Slamin.
By enrolling yourself or your child, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Parents and legal guardians accepting these terms on behalf of a minor are responsible for complying with them, including payment obligations.
1. Enrolments & Payments
1.1 All participants must be formally enrolled before attending a lesson. Enrolments are subject to availability and confirmation by Slamin.
1.2 Term enrolments reserve a place for the entire nominated term. Fees are calculated on a term basis and are not reduced for individual absences, holidays or scheduling conflicts.
1.3 Fees must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice. Slamin may suspend participation for overdue payments after providing reasonable notice.
1.4 Prices are quoted in Australian dollars, and no credit card surcharges are applied.
1.5 Enrolments do not automatically guarantee a place in subsequent terms. Re-enrolment is required to secure an ongoing position.
1.6 Slamin reserves the right to adjust fees for future enrolments, with applicable pricing disclosed before booking.
2. Withdrawals, Cancellations & Refunds
2.1 Term enrolments represent a commitment for the full term. Once the term has commenced, refunds or credits are generally not provided for changes of mind, competing activities, holidays or personal scheduling conflicts.
2.2 Requests for withdrawal due to medical circumstances must be submitted in writing with reasonable supporting documentation. Slamin will assess these requests individually and may offer an appropriate refund, credit or alternative arrangement.
2.3 If Slamin cancels a program and cannot provide an appropriate alternative, affected participants will receive a refund for the undelivered services.
2.4 Where a discretionary refund is approved, a $10 fee may apply to cover the administration time required to process the refund. No administration fee will apply where Slamin cancels a program and cannot provide a suitable alternative.
2.5 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Absences & Make-Up Lessons
3.1 Participants unable to attend a scheduled group lesson must notify Slamin through the Customer Portal as soon as reasonably possible.
3.2 Eligible missed lessons may be replaced through Slamin's make-up lesson system, subject to availability, program suitability and applicable booking conditions.
3.3 Make-up entitlements remain valid for 24 months from the original missed lesson date, including where the participant is not enrolled in a subsequent term.
3.4 Make-up lessons:
- Must be booked through the designated booking system.
- Are subject to available places and appropriate skill-level groupings.
- May be offered at another Slamin venue, day or time.
- Do not guarantee the original coach, venue, lesson duration or group.
- Cannot be converted into cash, account credit or deductions from future invoices.
- Cannot be extended beyond the 24-month period unless Slamin agrees or the law requires otherwise.
3.5 Participants are responsible for arranging their make-up lessons before expiry. Slamin cannot guarantee availability at a participant's preferred time.
3.6 Make-up entitlements are a goodwill benefit for eligible absences and do not replace statutory rights where Slamin fails to provide services as required by law.
4. Private & Semi-Private Lessons
4.1 Private and semi-private lessons are reserved for the nominated participant(s) and scheduled time.
4.2 Where one participant in a semi-private lesson is absent, the other participant is expected to attend. The absent participant does not automatically receive a replacement lesson.
4.3 Where both semi-private participants are unable to attend, a replacement lesson may be arranged at a mutually agreed time, subject to reasonable notice and availability.
4.4 Replacement private and semi-private lessons may be delivered by another suitably qualified coach.
4.5 Late arrival does not automatically entitle a participant to additional coaching time.
5. Weather, Venue & Program Changes
5.1 Lessons will proceed unless Slamin determines that conditions are unsuitable or unsafe.
5.2 Slamin may modify, postpone, relocate or cancel lessons due to rain, extreme heat, unsafe court conditions, facility restrictions, staff availability or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
5.3 Where available and appropriate, lessons may be transferred to an indoor or undercover area.
5.4 When a lesson is cancelled or materially shortened by Slamin, an appropriate replacement session, credit or refund will be provided in accordance with the circumstances and applicable consumer law.
5.5 Participants will be notified of cancellations or significant changes through SMS, the Customer Portal or another designated communication channel.
5.6 Unless Slamin has advised otherwise, participants should assume their scheduled lesson is proceeding.
6. Coaches, Group Sizes & Player Allocation
6.1 Slamin determines coaching allocations, group composition and player progression based on age, ability, development needs, safety and operational requirements.
6.2 Standard group sizes are generally:
- Junior and adult technique classes: 5-6 participants per coach.
- Squad training: 9-12 participants per coach.
Group sizes may vary where reasonably necessary.
6.3 Slamin may substitute coaches, combine or restructure suitable groups, or adjust schedules where operationally necessary.
6.4 Requests for a particular coach, group or timetable will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
6.5 Slamin reserves the right to recommend an alternative program or training level where appropriate for a participant's development, ability or safety.
7. Participant Health, Safety & Conduct
7.1 Tennis and physical activities involve inherent risks, including falls, collisions, muscular injuries and other physical injuries.
7.2 Participants must follow reasonable coaching instructions, safety directions and venue rules.
7.3 Parents and guardians must disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, injuries or additional support requirements that may affect safe participation. Information must be kept current.
7.4 Participants must not attend when suffering from a contagious illness or a condition that makes participation unsafe.
7.5 Participants must wear appropriate sporting clothing and footwear and bring suitable sun protection and drinking water.
7.6 In an emergency, Slamin may arrange appropriate first aid, medical assistance or emergency transport where reasonably necessary. Parents or participants remain responsible for associated third-party costs to the extent permitted by law.
7.7 Slamin may suspend or terminate participation where behaviour presents a genuine safety risk, involves bullying, harassment, abuse or serious misconduct, or repeatedly breaches reasonable program rules.
7.8 Any exclusion or termination will be handled reasonably, taking account of the circumstances and applicable legal obligations.
8. Child Supervision & Collection
8.1 Slamin supervises children during their scheduled coaching activities and any additional periods expressly agreed as part of a program.
8.2 Parents and guardians remain responsible for their child's supervision before and after lessons unless a specific collection, escort or supervision arrangement has been agreed.
8.3 Parents must ensure children are collected promptly at the conclusion of their scheduled session.
8.4 Children must not leave a supervised session early without appropriate parent or guardian authorisation.
8.5 Where children attend from before-school or after-school care, parents must ensure both Slamin and the care provider have accurate collection, return and handover instructions.
8.6 Venue-specific supervision and collection procedures, including school-based programs, will be communicated separately and must be followed.
9. Sun Protection & Extreme Weather
9.1 Slamin promotes sun-safe participation and may modify activities according to UV levels, temperature and weather conditions.
9.2 Participants are expected to bring appropriate sun protection, including a hat, sunscreen and drinking water.
9.3 Slamin may schedule additional hydration breaks, reduce activity intensity, relocate sessions or cancel activities where conditions present an unreasonable safety risk.
9.4 Parents are responsible for informing Slamin of any health conditions requiring additional weather-related precautions.
10. Liability & Consumer Rights
10.1 Participants acknowledge that tennis and physical training involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated through reasonable safety precautions.
10.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, Slamin is not responsible for loss, injury or damage arising solely from inherent sporting risks, a participant's failure to follow reasonable safety instructions or circumstances beyond Slamin's reasonable control.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or guarantees under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
10.4 Any exclusion, restriction or limitation of liability applies only to the extent legally permitted, including under applicable Victorian recreational services legislation.
10.5 Participants and parents are responsible for damage to property or injury to others caused by their deliberate misconduct or negligent actions, to the extent permitted by law.
10.6 Slamin encourages prompt reporting of injuries, incidents or concerns so they can be investigated and appropriately addressed. Failure to report an incident within a particular timeframe does not automatically remove a person's legal rights.
11. Personal Information & Privacy
11.1 Slamin collects and uses personal information for enrolment administration, coaching, payment processing, safety, communication and other legitimate business purposes.
11.2 Personal information will be handled in accordance with Slamin's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.
11.3 Medical and sensitive information will be used and disclosed only where reasonably necessary and legally permitted.
11.4 Slamin may use third-party booking, payment and communication providers to administer its services.
11.5 Photographs or video footage identifying participants will only be used for promotional purposes where appropriate consent has been obtained, subject to applicable law.
12. Website, Equipment & Intellectual Property
12.1 Customers must use Slamin's website, booking system and Customer Portal lawfully and must not interfere with their operation or security.
12.2 Slamin's branding, coaching materials, website content and other intellectual property must not be reproduced or commercially distributed without permission.
12.3 Products purchased from Slamin are subject to applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
12.4 Participants must use supplied equipment appropriately and follow reasonable instructions for its safe use.
