PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

By enrolling at Dream Street Dance Company, you agree to the following payment terms and conditions.

Payments & Direct Debit

Dream Street Dance Company operates on fortnightly direct debit payments only.

Fees are debited every second Thursday during the dance term generally in Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, according to our published payment schedule.

Enrolments are ongoing for the full calendar year and automatically continue from term to term unless a cancellation form is submitted via the website.

Students who enrol after the term has commenced will be added to the next scheduled direct debit. If a student commences during an alternate payment week, the applicable one-week fee may be debited upon enrolment.

Payments will continue as scheduled until the required cancellation or extended holiday form has been submitted and the applicable notice period has been completed.

Cancellations

A minimum of 4 weeks’ notice is required to cancel an enrolment.

All cancellations must be submitted via the official cancellation form at

Telling a teacher, staff member, sending an email or simply no longer attending class does not constitute cancellation.

Fees remain payable throughout the 4-week notice period.

Holidays, Absences & Missed Classes

Dream Street does not provide refunds, credits or make-up classes for individual missed lessons, including absences due to illness, personal commitments or holidays.

Account credits may be provided for an **extended holiday where 3 or more consecutive lessons will be missed**.
* Extended holidays require **4 weeks’ notice** and must be submitted through the form at **[www.dreamstdance.com/contact](http://www.dreamstdance.com/contact)**.
* Direct debits will continue on their normal scheduled dates, with any approved holiday credit applied to the student's account.

Failed & Overdue Payments

If a direct debit payment fails, it will be reattempted the following Tuesday
A $10 failed/late payment fee charged by the direct debit provider will be added to the next payment.

If the payment fails again, a $30 late payment fee will apply and the outstanding balance must be paid via PayID: 0451 076 785

Students with overdue fees may be unable to participate in classes until the outstanding balance has been paid

Additional Fees

Students participating in competition teams are subject to separate competition team fees, commitments and payment terms.

INJURY & MEDICAL POLICY

I understand that participation in dance, cheerleading, acrobatics, circus, rehearsals, performances and other activities at Dream Street Dance Company involves a risk of physical injury.

By participating, I acknowledge and voluntarily accept the risks associated with these activities. I understand that students should participate within their physical abilities and must notify Dream Street of any relevant injury, medical condition or limitation that may affect their participation.

Where permitted by law, I release Dream Street Dance Company, its owners, employees, contractors and representatives from liability for injury, loss or damage arising from the ordinary risks associated with participation. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.

If signing on behalf of a child, I confirm that I am the child's parent or legal guardian and have authority to provide this acknowledgement and consent.

If an Injury Occurs

If a student is injured during a Dream Street class, rehearsal, performance or activity:

The student will be removed from the activity and assessed by a staff member.
First aid will be provided where required by an appropriately trained staff member.
A parent/guardian will be contacted where appropriate.
Emergency services may be contacted if staff believe urgent medical attention is required.
An Incident Report will be completed and kept on record.
Parents may be asked to collect their child if they are unable to safely continue participating.
For significant injuries, Dream Street may request medical clearance before the student returns to training.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Dream Street Dance Company may take photos and videos during classes, performances, competitions and events for use on our website, social media and promotional materials.
Media will only be used where the appropriate parent/guardian consent has been provided.

Parents must advise Dream Street if they do not consent to their child appearing in photos or videos.
Parents and students are asked to be respectful when posting content involving Dream Street, its students, staff or other families.
Photos or videos of other children should not be posted without appropriate permission.
