1. Yearly Registration Fee: Before we dive into classes, there’s a one-time registration fee covering music licensing, insurances, and studio materials. It’s non-refundable but sets the stage for all the fun ahead!

2. Invoices and Payment: We’ll send you invoices before each term, and you’ve got until the due date to settle up. Your account is settled through direct debit.
We know life gets busy, so just a heads up: late payments do incur a fee and spots get placed on hold with no communication.

3. Physical Contact: Dance is all about movement, and sometimes our instructors might gently guide you to perfect your steps. Rest assured, it’s all in the name of helping you shine on stage!

4. Photographs & Videography: We love capturing memories, and this contract is your permission per student under your name to be on socials, we might even feature you in our promotional materials. It’s a chance to show off your talent to the world!

5. Account Settlement: We’re big fans of smooth sailing, so we kindly ask for timely payments. Don’t stress, we will send you automated reminders of when direct debit payments will be taken out. You will be required to pay costume fees which will be split in Term 1, 2 & 3 , for the conveniance and pratcicality of not having a lump sum costume payment at the end of the year.

6. Make-Up Lessons: Life happens, and if you miss a class, don’t fret! You’ve got a chance to catch up with a make-up lesson arranged through your customer portal. Note: students receive x1 makeup lesson per term.

7. Class Charges: We keep things simple by charging per term, so you can focus on honing your skills without any surprises.

8. Incomplete Term: Even if you can’t make it to every class, your spot is still reserved. We’re here to support your journey, no matter what!

9. Mid-Term Enrollments: If you decide to join us midway through a term, we’ll prorate your fees for the remaining weeks.

10. Grooming and Attire: Looking the part is part of the fun! Check out our stylish uniforms available for purchase to really feel the part. Uniforms are required for students attending our end-of-year concert, so why not get good wear out of them throughout your classes?

11. Active/Creative Kids Voucher: Got a voucher? You can put it towards your dance class fees and keep the rhythm going strong.

12. Additional Activities: From concerts to photo days, we’ve got plenty of exciting events lined up. Just a heads up, some might have extra fees.

13. Concert Participation: Our end-of-year concert is a highlight, and we’d love for you to join in the fun. But if you can’t make it, just give us a heads up by Term 2. You would have just ticked Y or N for your student participation attending concert in this form. It is a requirement top wear x1 FPA branded uniform garment to our end of year shows as per venue policy. This keeps our students recognised by the venue staff.

14. Term Duration: We mix things up with terms of varying lengths, usually around 10-11 weeks.

15. Elite Classes: Fancy joining our elite squad? There might be some additional costs for competitions and rehearsals, but it’s all worth it for the amazing experiences ahead! Elite classes are invitation only, so wait to hear from our awesome staff for the opportunity.

16. Costumes and Uniforms: We’ve got your costume needs covered, from REC classes to our elite team. And don’t worry, we always aim for quality at affordable prices. You're looking at $70-$150 depending on group and style.

17. Family Discounts: We love seeing families dance together! Enjoy discounts based on class targets.

18. Observation: We’re all about creating the best learning environment for our students. That’s why we kindly ask parents not to observe classes. We have an awesome outdoor area for you to take some much-deserved chill time, or we love the kiss and drop method to keep our traffic low and your life easy.

19. COVID-19 Safety: Your health and safety are paramount. We’ve implemented strict COVID-19 protocols, and in case of lockdowns, classes seamlessly transition online.

20. Ambulance Waiver: By signing this online contract, you agree that in the event of an emergency during your participation at Formula Performing Arts, faculty or staff may call for an ambulance if deemed necessary for your safety. You understand you’ll be responsible for any associated medical expenses incurred.

21. Traffic Awareness Agreement: By signing, you agree to exercise caution during drop-off and pick-up at Formula Performing Arts, following traffic laws and using designated areas. We’re not liable for incidents outside the studio, as parents are asked to pick up their child directly at the studio door for safety. We are also not liable for any fines you receive for incorrect parking.

Withdrawal Policy: If you withdraw from your permanent spot, you will be required to pay the remaining amount for the term if not done so already, as well as the remainder of any outstanding costume amounts. This will be handled via direct debit.

• We do not tolerate bullying, intimidation, or inappropriate behaviour of any kind.

Zero Tolerance Policy
Aggressive behaviour towards staff or students – including yelling, swearing, threats, or disrespect – will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Such behaviour will result in immediate dismissal and permanent removal from the studio.
