Registration and Enrolment
It is a requirement of En Pointe Dance Academy for each family to register and pay the registration fee the first time they enroll each calendar year before participating in any of our classes. I understand that the registration fee is a non-refundable fee.
Any Dance Class involves risk and personal injury. I understand that while En Pointe Dance Academy takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes, it accepts no responsibility for injury caused during classes. Parents/Gaurdians are responsible for ensring that their child is physically and medically fit for the class.
Photogtaphy, Video, Promotion and Website Release
I understand when enrolling at En Pointe Dance Academy that upon occasion we may organise an individual or group to make official recordings of our events, such as but not limited to our annual concert, costume day, public performances and regular classes. I understand that Video/DVD recordings and photographs are available to parents, will be distributed through the studio, and may be displayed on our website and used in the promotion of En Pointe Dance Academy.
Permission is also granted to En Pointe Dance Academy and its affiliates including Principal, Teachers and Parents to provide any needed first aid treatment prior to the child’s admission to a medical facility. In the event of an emergency, if the parent is unreachable, I understand that a teacher reserves the right to contact the ambulance and all fees associated with this will be at the parents expense.
Yearly Enrolment - Direct Debit. All fees will be deducted the Friday before term begins. In the event that your payment is dishonnored ezidebit charges a adminstration fee when re scheduled. Please note, any fees charged to En Pointe Dance Academy due to your failure to pay will be invoiced.
Termly Enrolment - Fees for lessons are charged by the term. Term fees must be finalized by the Friday before term commences to secure your spot. I understand that once enrolled I am responsible and agree to pay all the fees for my child/children prior to the start of term. If payment is not finalised your spot will be given to the next person on the waitlist.
If a student joins mid term the fees are charged on a Pro Rata Basis.

Petite Pointe Club – Tiny Tutus
We know that it sometimes takes a little while for your child to “warm up” to new things. Due to this we provide our Petite Pointe Club members with a Lesson Guarantee. If your child is genuinely not happy at En Pointe Dance Academy by their 4th lesson we will refund the balance of your fees if you wish to withdraw. After the 4th lesson the parent has 3 business days to request an enrolment cancellation and a refund. These requests can be made by emailing Admin@enpointedance.com.au. The refund is calculated by the number of remaining weeks in the term and is subject to the “refunds” section in these Terms and Conditions
En Pointe Dance Academy.
To allow you to experience a class at En Pointe Dance Academy prior to enrolling we allow you to come and trial your chosen class*. Trial classes are charged at the cost of the lesson and payable prior to class online via credit card.

If you have selected "Option 1" enrolments roll over into the next term. Please advise us if you do not wish to continue dance in the new term no later than week 7 so we can apdate our system.
If you have selecedt "Option 2" You will be required to re enrol using our Parent Portal and make payment to secure your spot.
Refunds and credits cannot be provided for classes missed due to personal circumstances. Students may attend a make up lesson (subject to availability) in a comparable class within the same term. Missed lessons do not carry over in the new term.
En Pointe Dance Academy does not teach on the long weekend of public holidays. You are not charged for these classes. Classes normally affected are Saturday and Mondays (and Good Friday).
Cancellations of classes
Occaisonally, due to unforeseen circumstances, En Pointe Dance Academy may need to cancel or reschedule classes. Notice will be given as far in advance as possible. Cancellations notices will be sent via text and email. Individual calls will not be made due to class sizes and timeframe.
In the event of a cancelation, a make up class will be offered. If you are unable to attend a credit will be applied to your account.
All refunds are subject to a $20 administration fee. The registration fee is non refundable.
Photography and Digital Recoding during lessons
Due to licensing and child protection laws, En Pointe Dance Academy does not allow personal recording in any format during lessons. Digital recording of movement by any device (such as but not limited to mobile phones and digital video recorders) is strictly prohibited. Personal photograph of your own student is permitted. Posting photographs on any social media site containing images of children other than that of your own is strictly prohibited.
