Terms and Conditions of Enrolment
• Enrolment
- Before you can commence with us, all required forms must be completed and enrolment finalised and accepted by Jazz Attack Performing Arts office.
- We run four terms each calendar year which may vary in duration and therefore term price.
- To operate as efficiently as possible, payment is only via our automated Payrix system.
- You will be notified via SMS and/or email approximately 3weeks prior to the due date that your nominated credit card/account will be debited for payment.
- You may stop a debit payment or change your debit payment details by notifying us at least 3 business days prior to the scheduled direct debit date. You must phone our office during business hours and speak directly with an administrator or email accounts@jazzattack.com.au to arrange your request. Answering machine messages or text messages will not be accepted.
- If the account is being paid for by someone other than yourself, they will need to register and enrol students and sign all documentation.
- Access to my child’s personal information held by the studio is available on the parent portal.
Unless we receive your notification as directed above, your child will automatically be enrolled for the next term.
• Request to change days, times or venues must be received prior to the scheduled direct debit date. We aim to accommodate wherever possible but cannot guarantee availability for your request. We will notify you of the outcome once your request has been processed.
• Changes to scheduled classes
There may be unavoidable changes to the days, times or venues of some scheduled classes due to unforeseen circumstances or to maintain class numbers. We will do our best to keep classes together but cannot guarantee this. We will notify you of any changes and apologise for any inconvenience.
• Please notify the office
- If you change address, phone or email. It is essential we have current contact and emergency contact details.
- Not attending an event, you must notify the office before the due date of the invoice. Failure to notify in time will result in full payment of the invoice.
- READY SET MOVE with Me - If there are changes to who will be dancing with your child, as a wavier will need to be arranged for this person to sign.
• Refund and/or deferment policy
Fees are non-refundable and not deferrable. Non-attendance does not qualify you for a refund or credit. There is no pro-rata of tuition because of illness, injury, vacations, camps, schedule conflicts or the alike.
Cancelled Classes
If due to unforeseen circumstances your lesson must be cancelled during the term, we will do our best to notify you ahead of your lesson. We must have current contact details to be ablet to reach you. We will notify you of your replacement lesson via the office or through your teacher in class the following week. If no lesson can be arranged a credit will be applied to the system.
• Make up class policy – READY SET DANCE Preschoolers Program
We recognise the importance of continuity for your child’s lessons and where possible will offer make up lessons for missed classes when absence has been communicated to the office, prior to your scheduled class. Make-up lessons are subject to availability and booked make up lessons not attended will not be re offered. Conditions apply and make up lessons offered must be taken in the current term and cannot be refunded, credited, deferred or transferred to another child.
• Photography/Video
Photographing your own child during a class is permitted, however, we ask that you be mindful, courteous and observant of others and their children. If you are asked to stop, we ask that you comply, our teachers have the last word in all respects.
Videoing during class is prohibited other than teacher specified times, notification of these times will be given to parents/clients during class times. No live streaming is allowed anywhere during, before or after lessons. Jazz Attack is not liable for the actions of third parties or any liability arising from a breach of these terms and conditions.
• Copyright in photographs & video; Right to use by Jazz Attack: Any photographs/videos taken by Jazz Attack before, during and after class may be used for training, promotion or other purposes.
• Program replication
No part of our lessons, logos, photography or videos may be reproduced in any form. No part of our Jazz Attack training or teaching program material or intellectual property may be reproduced in any form.
• Health and Regulations
- You, your spouse/partner, child or caregiver or any children you bring to the venue, either to attend lessons, seminars, rehearsals or to observe is done so entirely at your own risk and Jazz Attack is not liable for any personal injury or death whilst attending the venues.
- Medical conditions for you, your spouse/partner, child or caregiver or any children you bring to the venue need to be declared. If you are unsure in this regard, you must seek advice from your registered health care professional. All information is handled confidentially.
- Jazz Attack reserves the right to restrict enrolment or to ask anyone to leave Jazz Attack premisses based on health or safety issues or behavioural issues deemed unreasonable.
- All property and valuables left in the venues, change areas or outside, is left at your own risk and we do not except any responsibility or liability for the loss or damage to personal possessions.
- Extended period of absence for serious medical reasons: If approved by the director can receive customer credit – Medical notes may be required.
• Uniform
All students must wear correct dance attire and display correct grooming in all classes. Jazz Attack has many styles of uniforms for students to choose from that suit different styles of dance.
- Ballet – Girls – Black leotard with ballet tights must be worn, ballet skirt is optional. Hair is to be in a ballet bun. Pink ballet shoes required.
- Ballet – Boys – Black or Grey Ballet tights with a tight white or black t-shirt or singlet. Black ballet shoes required.
- Acrobatics – Tight uniform with no loose clothing. Acrobatic shoes with grip required.
- Hip Hop – Baggy uniform preferred.
- Jazz/Tap/Lyrical/Contemporary – Any uniform accepted.
- Exams – Girls - Black leotard, Jazz Attack leggings or shorts.
- Exams – Boys – Black or Jazz Attack t-shirt & Jazz Attack track pants.
