General
• Unless otherwise mentioned under Sydney Blazers’ Policies & Procedures, Sydney Blazers will always follow the policies and procedures of NSW Basketball, any other competitions, Tournaments hosts or the place where Sydney Blazers uses the venues of.
SBBA FEES
Please Note - we cannot invoice per training sessions. Fees must be paid for the full term if joined between first 5 weeks or half price if joined after 6th week

Competition (Court) Fees
Competition ( Court ) fees are different and separate from Training fees and will be invoiced per season by Hills Basketball
Association.
Competition fees to be paid to Sydney Blazers . Sydney Blazers will pay court fees to HBA via the Managers' portal. Players can see the invoice via player portal of HBA.
SBBA will collect $200 per season as competition fees. Any variance will be adjusted with the second term training fee
Hills Basketball /NSW Basketball Membership Fees & Annual Player Insurance
All Competition players must register and pay the membership fee to Hills Basketball Association prior to the competition start
Existing players renew the membership annually
Refund Policy
No training fees will be refunded nor negotiated
No competition(Court ) fees can be refunded nor negotiated
Active Kids Vouchers
We accept the vouchers and can be redeemed as part of your fees . The vouchers are not refundable.
If we receive incorrect or already redeemed vouchers an additional admin fee of $10 will be charged.
Active Kids Voucher Rules
* Can only use the voucher with the players names on it.
* Cannot use sibling vouchers for another child
* Cannot use to buy uniforms
* Cannot use both voucher for the same activity within the same term
* Can use the second voucher during the same term if there are extended activities.
* Competition is an extended activity of training
* We have created two activities as below

Think Smart SportsBiz
• Sydney Blazers will use TThink Smart SportsBiz in team management, Invoicing and for communication.
• Please update players Full Name, Date of birth, parents contact details Phone number, Mobile Number and emergency contact number under player details
Training
• Training will be focused on fitness, skill development, teamwork and competition plays
• Coaching will be done by independent young and experienced coaches
• Players with exceptional leadership skills will be given the opportunity to become junior coaches
• For all age group teams training is compulsory for the players who joins to play for our teams. Unless there is a valid reason, regular absentee will get less court time in the competitions.
Team Structure and Competition Readiness
• Coaches will make decisions re the competition readiness of the players
• Players to be placed in divisions appropriate to the standard of the kids and to be trained accordingly
Competition
• There are two seasons per a calendar year –
Winter (School Term 2 & School Term 3 )
Summer ( School term 4 and School Term 1 of the next year )
• One season has two school Terms
• Once enrolled players must play for both term of the season
Player Game Time Policy
• Each player to have reasonable and fair playing time on preliminary rounds of the competition.
• Coaches have the right to play some players more whenever they feel required
• In critical games semi-finals or finals – coaches may take decisions to play certain kids longer and others less
• We will consider attendance for training in the competition playing time unless preapproved due to exceptional situations
Photo Policy
• Sydney Blazers will take initial approval from the parents for the club to take photos of players, to place them in any social media, web pages or any other advertising materials like flyers, banners etc.
Emergency Process
• Collect information on registration, emergency contacts, any medical or other conditions that Sydney Blazers need to be aware of the kids to provide them a safer environment
Code of Conduct
• Players must be obedient and follow the instructions of the coaches.
• Sydney Blazers have no discrimination in any kind and no bullying allowed.
• None of the staff, players or parents will behave in such a manner to disgrace Sydney Blazers during the competition or any other time that players represent the club.
• Adhere to Basketball NSW code of conduct, rules and regulations, policies and procedure and to any other organisations Sydney Blazers compete in or use the facilities of.
Disciplinary Process for breach of code of conduct
• Step 1 - Players will be warned by the coaches or the management
• Step 2 - If behaviour still persists parents will be informed, and warning letters will be sent
• Step 3- If behaviour still persists Players will be suspended from attending training and playing in competition for 2 weeks
• Step 4 – If behaviour still persists Players will not be allowed to attend training or competition at Sydney Blazers
Complains
• Complains need to be lodged through our website. Go to the Tab – Contacts and send yours complain or any other inquiries.
• Under no circumstances directly accuse or complain to junior coaches re any matter.
• You can also email or directly contact the Club Manager, Any Senior Coach for any complain.
Parents Duty
• Parents are assigned duties either when they are rostered to do the scoring or to represent Sydney Blazers as in the capacity of adult supervision,
a. Inform the Team co-ordinator if you cannot attend duties and make alternative arrangements.
b. We will assign the player to score if you are unable to co-operate
Absentees
• Update in the app if you cannot attend training or competition games.

Sydney Blazers do not take any responsibility for matters that occur due to non-disclosures.

WE ARE NOT SPECIALISED TO COACH CHILDREN WITH DIFFICULTIES. WE WILL COACH ALL THE KIDS THE SAME WITHOUT ANY DISCRIMINATION. IT'S IMPORTANT AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITY THAT YOU INFORM US OF ANY MATTER THAT WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF.
