Terms and Conditions
At the start of each calendar year or when joining for the first time, an enrolment form must be completed and an enrolment fee paid. It is important that you advise PSAD of any changes to your enrolment and contact details if they change, this must be done in writing. Your enrolment is valid for the current calendar year. The enrolment fee includes insurance cover for each dancer.
Prudence Schwarz Academy of Dance reserves the right to disallow or discontinue a dancer’s enrolment due to misadventure or misconduct.
Term Fees – You will enter a direct debit agreement upon enrolling. Direct debit details must be supplied to complete enrolment.
If you don't wish to enter a direct debit contract simply pay the invoice in full before the first direct debit date.
Term fee payment will be pro-rata only for new dancers starting mid-term.
Private Lessons – are strictly payable in cash at each lesson or in advance if payment. You are responsible for the payment of all private lessons in each term, private lessons that are not paid for on the day will be direct debited.

We strongly encourage the use of ezidebit
ezidebit are a paid service provider utilised by PSAD.
PSAD is not involved with, engaged in or forms any part of any other commercial venture other than those procured by PSAD for the services provided by ezidebit and their practice of business.
All ezidebit details are collected online
If you do not wish to enrol in an ezidebit agreement simply pay the total invoice before the first ezidebit date of the term.
Allocated accounts will be direct debited every Thursday over a 12 week period per term.
Cancelled Enrolment will receive a 80% refund that will be granted before week 3 of term (for fees only). Please note fees are not refundable after week 3. To receive a refund, notice needs to be given in writing before the 3rd week of term. Enrolment cancellation must be submitted in writing.
Teaching classical ballet is a physical activity and appropriate physical contact between students and teachers in class is essential to ballet training. Teachers will use their hands, and occasionally foot or knee, to illustrate a concept to a student or to adjust parts of a student’s body
Classes missed due to public holidays may be made up from any timetabled class of their level only during the same term, with notice.
The performance team is open to students who are enrolled in a minimum of two classes per week. Students who are involved in the performance team are required to travel to group eisteddfods (3-4 per year) and be available for public performances.
Students who are unable to attend a team event such as an eisteddfod or performance will not be allowed to attend the following performance where there is less than a 4 week period between performances/eisteddfods or other commitments.
Performance Team costs
Every student of the PSAD performance team MUST own the current performance team uniform, class uniform, and all required shoes and stockings.
Enrolment in the PSAD Performance team costs
Annual costume hire per dance ranges from $10-$55.
Additional costs may occur from time to time and may include travel to competitions, accomodation, petrol or other incumbent or included costs. These are at the expense of the student.
An 80% attendance rate must be maintained by examination, elite, and eisteddfod students to maintain the privilege of participation.
Private lessons are to be paid for in cash at the start of the lesson.
All allocated private lessons are booked for the duration of 2020 and you are responsible for the payment of that allocated time for the entire year. All unattended privates/and privates that are unpaid on the day of the lesson will be direct debited alongside a $10 late fee.

A concert Levy will be charged alongside each enrolled class per term to cover participation in PSADs annual concert.The concert Levy covers, hire of costumes, insurance costs, make up and hair supplies used on the day, rehearsal times, 1 pair of stockings, and a DVD of the concert.
The concert Levy is capped at 5 classes per student or 8 classes per family and is calculated by adding the classes represented together, i.e 1st class plus 2nd class would incur a $36 charge.

$8 - 5th-8th class
Refunds of concert levy will only be provided when PSAD is notified by the last week of term 2, Saturday 6th July 2020.
