7.2.3 Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
1.0 Introduction
This policy will outline the terms and conditions applicable to participation in Little Messy Learners sessions. The aim of the policy is to provide guidance for our staff and franchisees and for class participants and their parents/carers.
2.0 Booking Process
2.1 Medical ConditionsParents/Carers must declare any medical conditions, including allergies, during the registration process.
2.2 PhotographyAt Little Messy Learners we capture photographs and videos of children’s learning journeys which may be used for marketing purposes. If you DO NOT wish your child to be photographed/filmed, please state during the booking process.
2.3 Discount CodesMisuse of a discount code during the booking process will result in an invoice being issued for the remaining balance. This must be paid in full or your booking will be cancelled without a refund of any monies paid. Misuse includes sharing codes that are for your sole use and using codes that aren’t applicable, i.e. birthday codes and sibling discounts.
3.0 During Class
3.1 Parental/Carer Responsibilities During ClassesParents/Carers are solely responsible for their child/children at all times during Little Messy Learners classes.Although care is taken to ensure materials used are non-toxic, parents/carers should take sensible precautions to ensure that materials are not ingested. Some activities involve materials which can become slippery, so extra care must be taken. The class leader will put reasonable precautions into place in order to minimise slip hazards. Class leaders are not responsible for injuries within a venue. Running is not allowed in class.
Please wear old clothes that you and your child are comfortable moving about in and would not be worried about getting wet or marked. Little Messy Learners takes no responsibility for clothes that are stained, marked, or damaged. You may find a change of clothes, a towel, and some wipes are useful after class.
We understand that children get hungry, so snacks are fine, but please remove your child to one side while they eat.It is a parent/carer’s responsibility to keep class leaders up to date with new or existing medical conditions, including allergies.
3.2 Use of Let's Play Facility
Little Messy Learners sessions take place within the Let's Play Indoor Playground facility, which includes soft play areas, rock climbing walls, a foam pit, climbing frames, and other active play equipment.
Use of all equipment is at your own risk.
Parents/Carers are responsible for supervising their child/children at all times while using these facilities.
Extra care must be taken on equipment such as rock climbing walls, foam pits, climbing frames, and monkey bars to prevent slips, falls, or injuries.
Participants must follow all rules and guidelines provided by both Little Messy Learners and Let's Play Indoor Playground staff.
Neither Little Messy Learners nor Let's Play Indoor Playground will be held liable for injuries or accidents that occur as a result of using the facilities.
3.3 Material SafetyMaterials provided in class are age-appropriate and non-toxic. However, parents/carers must take responsibility for ensuring materials are not ingested by their child/children.
4.0 Cancellation or Missed SessionsChildren should not attend a class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class commencing. Little Messy Learners class leaders may refuse participation if they consider a child is unwell or showing symptoms of illness.
Although short notice alteration requests MAY occasionally be able to be accommodated, bookings are non-refundable.
Class places can be transferred to another child with advanced notice. You may also transfer into another class held that week.
Please note that outdoor events will go ahead in all weathers (unless exceptional, such as storms or high winds).
Where a Little Messy Learners session cannot go ahead as a result of any event outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible and will aim to offer an alternative date for the missed session or offer a voucher to redeem on a future class or event.
5.0 Terms of Entry for Let's Play Indoor PlaygroundBy participating in Little Messy Learners sessions held within Let's Play Indoor Playground, you agree to comply with the general terms and conditions of entry for the Let's Play facility, including:
Safe use of all play equipment.
No running or reckless behavior.
Respect for other participants and staff.
Use of the facility at your own risk, including climbing walls, foam pits, and climbing frames.
Failure to comply with these terms may result in being asked to leave the premises without a refund.
6.0 Liability
Little Messy Learners and Let's Play Indoor Playground take all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe environment. However, we cannot accept liability for:
Injuries or accidents resulting from use of play equipment.
Personal property lost, stolen, or damaged during sessions.
Parents/Carers accept full responsibility for supervising their children and ensuring safe participation in all activities.
