9. MEMBERSHIP FEES
9.1 Entrance Fee
(a) The Committee may from time to time determine the amount of the entrance fee, if any, to be paid by each Member or each class of Members upon becoming a Member.
9.2 Annual Membership Fee
(a) The Committee may from time to time determine the amount of the annual membership fee, if any, to be paid by each Member or each class of Members.
(b) Each Member must pay the Member’s annual membership fee determined under rule 9.2(a) to the Treasurer, or a person authorised by the Committee to receive payments, as and when decided by the Committee.
(c) If a Member pays the annual membership fee within 3 months after the due date, the Member retains all the rights and privileges of a Member for the purposes of these Rules during that time, including the right to vote.
(d) Subject to rule 9.2(e), if a person fails to pay the annual Membership fee within 3 months after the due date, the person ceases to be a Member.
(e) If a person ceases to be a Member under rule 9.2(d), and subsequently pays to the Association all the Member’s outstanding fees, the Committee may, if it thinks fit, reinstate the Member’s rights and privileges from the date on which
the outstanding fees are paid, including the right to vote.
9.3 Coaching Fees
(a) The Committee may from time to time determine the amount of the coaching fees, if any, to be paid by each Member or each class of Members.
(b) Coaching fees will be charged on a regular basis as determined by the Committee.
(c) Each Member must pay the Member’s coaching fee determined under rule
9.3(a) to the Treasurer, or a person authorised by the Committee to receive payments, as and when decided by the Committee.
(d) If a Member pays the coaching fee within 3 months after the due date, the Member retains all the rights and privileges of a Member for the purposes of these Rules during that time, including the right to vote.
(e) Subject to rule 9.3(d), if a person fails to pay the coaching fee within 3 months after the due date, the person ceases to be a Member.
(f) If a person ceases to be a Member under rule 9.2(d), and subsequently pays to the Association all the Member’s outstanding fees, the Committee may, if it
thinks fit, reinstate the Member’s rights and privileges from the date on which the outstanding fees are paid, including the right to vote.
9.4 Lane hire Fees
(a) The Committee may from time to time determine the amount of the lane hire fee, if any, to be paid by each Member or each class of Members.
(b) Lane hire fees will be charged on a regular basis as determined by the Committee.
(c) Each Member must pay the Member’s lane hire fee determined under rule
9.3(a) to the Treasurer, or a person authorised by the Committee to receive payments, as and when decided by the Committee.
(d) If a Member pays the lane hire fee within 3 months after the due date, the Member retains all the rights and privileges of a Member for the purposes of these Rules during that time, including the right to vote.
(e) Subject to rule 9.4(d), if a person fails to pay the lane hire fee within 3 months after the due date, the person ceases to be a Member.
(f) If a person ceases to be a Member under rule 9.2(d), and subsequently pays to the Association all the Member’s outstanding fees, the Committee may, if it thinks fit, reinstate the Member’s rights and privileges from the date on which
the outstanding fees are paid, including the right to vote.
9.5 Fundraising Levy
(a) The Committee may from time to time determine the amount of the fundraising levy, if any, to be paid by each Member or each class of Members.
(b) The fundraising levy will be charged on a regular basis as determined by the Committee.
(c) Each Member must pay the Member’s fundraising levy determined under rule
9.3(a) to the Treasurer, or a person authorised by the Committee to receive payments, as and when decided by the Committee.
(d) If a Member pays the fundraising levy within 3 months after the due date, the Member retains all the rights and privileges of a Member for the purposes of these Rules during that time, including the right to vote.
(e) Subject to rule 9.4(d), if a person fails to pay the lane hire fee within 3 months after the due date, the person ceases to be a Member.
(f) If a person ceases to be a Member under rule 9.2(d), and subsequently pays to the Association all the Member’s outstanding fees, the Committee may, if it thinks fit, reinstate the Member’s rights and privileges from the date on which
the outstanding fees are paid, including the right to vote.
