1. FEES
Fees are due at the beginning every term, please note the due date on your invoice. If required you may contact us to arrange a payment plan. Fees are to be paid via our direct debit gateway 'EziDebit' or via credit card through an online link on your invoice.
2. ENROLMENT
Once enrolled at IPA your child is automatically garanteed a place in that class for the following term. Your enrolment is considered continous and will be rolled over into each new term until otherwise advised.
3. CANCELLING ENROLMENT
All fees are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your childs enrolment, please provide us with writen notice before the new term commences.
4. COMMUNICATION
Please take the time to read all IPA newsletters. All information and invoices will be emailed out to the address provided at the time of enrolment. Our Facebook group, Instagram page and Customer Portal are also great ways of keeping up to date with our studio.
5. WATCHING CLASS
In order to avoid distractions, parents are only permitted to watch their child’s first lesson on joining and then the 'Parents Week' lesson at the end of term. In the case of the very young students e.g. Mover & Groover / Tiny Tots , if your child feels insecure, please feel free to stay with them for the first few lessons to settle them in. When in the studio it is important to put your phone on silent and watch quietly as to not disrupt the lesson.
6. CHILD COLLECTION
It is the parents/carers responsibility to collect their child immediately after their class has finished.
7. PHYSICAL CONTACT
Parents are advised that some physical contact may be necessary by a teacher to demonstrate exercises or techniques, or if a staff member needs to administer ?rst aid.
8. WORKING WITH CHILDREN
The Principal and all teachers of IPA have a Blue Card as required by Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian.
9. PHOTOGRAPHY
Students may be photographed or filmed by the studio for promotion purposes on social media. Please advise us in writing if your chid is not to be included in these photos
10. CLASS NUMBERS
If enrolment numbers fall below the viable number (approx 4-5) IPAl reserves the right to cancel, shorten or transfer the class – fees paid will be credited pro rata.
11. UNIFORM
All other students are required to wear the IPA uniform purchased from Step by Step Dancewear, and must be suitably groomed for each class.
12. MISSED CLASSES
There is no refund of fees for missed classes. A make up lesson will be offered where possible. Every effort will be made to make up lessons missed due to class cancellations or a Teacher’s absence.
13. FIRST AID
A stocked first aid kit is accessible to all classes at all times. In the event of a medical emergency, if parents are unreachable, it is understood that the teacher reserves the right to call for an ambulance service.
14. INJURY
Dance classes can involve risk of personal injury. While IPA takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes; it accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the dance studio.
15. EXAMS, PERFORMANCE GROUP AND CONCERTS
Entrants for ballet exams and our Performance group, will be at the sole discretion of the Teacher. Entrance fees, and extra tuition fees will be charged over and above normal fees. Our concert is held at the end of November every year and all students are able to participate. Further information regarding the concert will be available through email.
