Inclement Weather:
Rain:
Should the courts be unusable due to wet weather the coach will declare a ‘wash out’ and will endeavour to notify students as soon as possible. Coaches will have access to wet weather tennis balls and wet weather lesson plans to accomodate for slightly wet courts. Please note unless you hear from Sandhurst Tennis that the lesson has been ‘washed-out’ please assume that your lesson is going ahead as scheduled.

Heat:
When the temperature reaches 35 degrees and over at the Club and/or the Wet-bulb index reaches 28° or higher, all coaching sessions may be suspended until the temperature drops. Please be aware the temperature will be taken at the venue and your safety is our primary concern.

Thunderstorm:
If there is thunderstorm activity within 30km of the area Sandhurst Tennis will immediately postpone/cancel the lesson. Lessons will not resume until it is deemed safe to do so.

Squad / Group Lessons:
Any squad lessons cancelled due to 'Inclement Weather' can be made up by booking into a make-up class on another day.

Privates:
Private Lessons and Private Groups will be made up on an alternative day in consultation with your coach (eg. weekend or school holidays).

If a Private is cancelled because of inclement weather during the lesson - only the time for the part of the lesson cancelled will be eligible for a make-up.

Make-up Lesson Policy:

Squad / Group Lessons:

If are not able to attend a lesson for any reason please let us know as soon as possible and we may be able to place you in an alternate 'make-up' class.

If you are absent from your class and you do not give Sandhurst Tennis sufficient notice of your absence (>24 hours) you <b>will not</b> be offered a make-up lesson.

Lessons cancelled by Sandhurst Tennis (eg. Inclement Weather, staff illness etc.) will be offered to book into a make-up lesson on another day (within 90 days of the date of your missed lesson).

Missed lessons due to factors outside of our control do not warrant a make up lesson or reduced term fee (eg. appointment, travel and school camps). However, if the reason for a missed lesson is due to illness or injury and you provide us with sufficient notice, with a medical certificate we will make arrangements for the student to be placed in another lesson for a make-up.


Private, Semi-Private & Private Group Lessons ("Privates"):

Privates cancelled by Sandhurst Tennis (eg. Inclement Weather, staff illness etc.) will be offered a make-up lesson at a time to be arranged between you and your coach.

Missed Privates due to factors outside of our control DO NOT warrant a make up lesson or reduced term fee (eg. appointment, illness, injury, travel, etc.). Privates have fixed costs regardless of how many students attend the session.

Medical & Liability Policy:
I hereby authorise the staff of Sandhurst Tennis to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention.

I release Sandhurst Tennis from any and all liability for injury or illness and costs, incurred while undertaking a program or event with Sandhurst Tennis.

Payment Policy:
All lessons are to be paid for at least 24 hours before the start of the session. Term fees are to be paid before the beginning of the first lesson of the term.

You will receive an invoice giving you an Online Payment option (1.75% surcharge) OR Direct Bank Transfer. Please have the invoice number and student’s full name in the description.

Payment is not attendance based and no refunds or credits will be given if you miss a lesson for any reason. We do allow make-up lessons in certain circumstances, please see our 'Make-up Policy' for details around make-up lessons.

Photo & Video Consent Policy:
I acknowledge that Sandhurst Tennis may film, use video analysis and photography during programs, lessons and events (the main purpose of this is to aid with tracking their tennis development and biomechanics).

I acknowledge and agree that this usage, including for marketing and promotion purposes, is without compensation or notice to myself. Images may be used on our website, social media and other promotional material.

NB: you do not have to accept this policy to register/book for classes with Sandhurst Tennis. Please discuss with us if there is a particular reason you are not comfortable with you /your child/ren being photographed / videoed and we will accommodate.

Privacy Policy:
Your privacy is important to us. The data collected from you will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent. The email address you provide may be used to send you information, subscribe you to our newsletter, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. In addition to the above we may register your child with Tennis Australia.
